My CI was a lovely human being and therapist. She was knowledgeable and supportive in every way. I was never afraid to ask questions or try something new, it all felt very easy in her presence which is a sign of a good mentor in my opinion. I never wanted to do a hands placement but Im glad I took this chance as I learned a lot and would honestly do it again. The patients were mostly kind, understanding, receptive and compliant to suggestions and home exercise programs/interventions. I was able to see first-hand the difference OT made in their lives.
